Building on the success of the Heritage Museum's Gerber exhibit, the Gerber team wanted to bring the experience closer to home with the National Gerber Babyfood Festival. Their marketing team from Virginia reached out to us to serve as their on-the-ground design resource in West Michigan, inviting us to give Michigan’s festival goers a “Peek Behind the Gerber Gate.”
We collaborated with the Gerber Factory Manager and Marketing Team to craft a narrative that traced Gerber’s origins to its current legacy. A timeline showcased a concise yet informative history—highlighting the company’s beginnings, its dedicated research team, its impact in Fremont, MI, and the evolution of the Baby Food Festival. In addition, four stations detailed Gerber’s current programs in Farming, Brand, Factory, and Resource Center initiatives. The signage was designed with versatility in mind for potential reuse at future expos and events.
The festival was a resounding success, delighting the Gerber team while both entertaining and informing the attendees.

Shortly after the success of the Baby Food Festival Exhibit, Gerber’s Fremont Administration building prepared to welcome staff back full-time in the post-COVID era. To create a more inviting environment, a section of previously unused cubicles was transformed into a communal space designed to boost employee morale and leave a positive first impression on guests. The goal was to develop an open, welcoming, and modern area that fostered collaboration, supported one-on-one meetings, and enhanced Nestlé Gerber pride throughout the facility.
After extensive discussions with the Nestlé Gerber team and an on-site visit, we set out to reimagine nearly 3,000 square feet of space by exploring local resources and working within a limited budget. Once our plan was approved, we moved quickly to meet a six-month deadline ahead of a visit from Nestlé’s Swedish team. Collaborating closely with contractors and manufacturers, we brought the new style to life, creating a dynamic hub that truly reflects Gerber’s community spirit.
